Uttara Finance and Investments Limited, a non-banking financial institution, provides various financial products and services to individuals and corporate bodies in Bangladesh. The company offers operating and financing lease, and sale and lease back services. It also provides term, working capital, bridge, small and medium enterprise (SME), and syndicate finance products. In addition, the company offers merchant banking services, including underwriting, portfolio and issue management, margin loan, corporate advisory, project counseling, and investment in capital market through investors’ accounts. Further, it provides documentary credit services to import lease assets from foreign suppliers through establishment of letters of credit; and term deposits. The company provides lease financing for the acquisition of capital machineries for industrial undertakings, industrial equipment, office equipment, medical equipment, construction equipment, etc.; term loans within a period ranging from one year to five years to primarily processing industries of agricultural products; refinance in the SME sectors; loan facilities to women entrepreneurs; and working capital financing for businesses to meet cash shortfall to attain borrowing.
