Company profile

Peoples Insurance PLC provides a range of insurance products and services in Bangladesh. It offers fire insurance products, including fire and allied perils, industrial all-risk insurance products, and insurance of consequential loss/business interruption due to fire and allied perils; marine cargo and hull insurance products; and motor insurance, such as comprehensive and act liability insurance products. The company also provides engineering insurance products, such as a contractor’s all risk, erection all risk, machinery, deterioration of stock, boiler and pressure vessel, and electronic equipment insurance products; and health insurance products comprising comprehensive travel, overseas Mediclaim, personal accident, and people’s personal accident insurance products. In addition, it offers miscellaneous insurance products, including burglary and housebreaking, risks, general and public liability, product liability, fidelity guarantee, workmen's compensation, cash-in-transit, cash-in-safe, cash-on-counter, cash-in-ATM booth, and safe deposit box insurance products, as well as provides re-insurance services. Peoples Insurance PLC was incorporated in 1985 and is headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
