ICB Islamic Bank Limited provides commercial banking products and services in Bangladesh. The company offers current and saving accounts, as well as term deposits and monthly savings plan. It also provides home, auto, and personal finance; trade finance, such as import, export, bank guarantee, bill purchase, and letter of credit; investment against property; BM hypo; Ijara hire purchase; Murabaha import bill; and earnest money finance. In addition, the company offers other services comprising e-government procurement system; payment order; and automatic Challan and Hajj Plan. Further, it provides discounting bills; money transfer; foreign exchange transactions; customer services, including locker service, collections and issuing letter of credit, guarantees and acceptances; and financing services for rural and agricultural, garments and textiles, jute, cement and bricks, tannery, steel and engineering, food and beverage, chemical and pharmaceuticals, printing and packaging, glass and ceramics, and miscellaneous. The company was formerly known as The Oriental Bank Limited and changed its name to ICB Islamic Bank Limited in February 2008. The company was incorporated in 1987 and is headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh. ICB Islamic Bank Limited operates as a subsidiary of ICB Financial Group Holdings AG.
