Eastland Insurance PLC. provides various non-life insurance products in Bangladesh. It offers accidental damage on property insurance products, including fire and allied perils, industrial all risks, comprehensive machinery, property all risks, power plant operational package, and special package insurance; marine hull, ship builders’ all risks, and ship repairs liability insurance; and marine cargo insurance. The company also provides motor and automobile liability insurance; miscellaneous insurance, comprising burglary, all risks, air travel, cash-in-safe, cash-in-transit, cash-on-counter, cash-on-premises, overseas medi-claim, fidelity guarantee, personal accident, peoples’ personal accident, workmen’s compensation, and safe deposit box all risks insurance; and liability insurance that includes employers’, product, carriers, public, contingency, and clinical liability insurance. In addition, it offers accidental damage to property insurance, such as contractors’ all risks, erection all risks, builders’ all risks, machinery breakdown, deterioration of stock, cold storage comprehensive policy, electronic equipment, boiler and pressure vessel, and contractors’ plant and machinery insurance, as well as aviation insurance. Further, the company provides specialized products, including professional indemnity, householders’ comprehensive, shops and supermarkets, comprehensive general liability, business interruption/loss of profit, umbrella, hotel owners all risks, glass, engineers’ professional liability, bankers’ bond, and rubber plantation insurance, as well as cancellation and abandonment insurance for games. Additionally, it offers underwriting and reinsurance services. The company was formerly known as Eastland Insurance Company Limited and changed its name to Eastland Insurance PLC. in September 2024. Eastland Insurance PLC. was incorporated in 1986 and is headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
