In plain words
Uttara Bank's share price has been in a long, steady rise. It traded around ৳12 in 2023, near ৳17 for much of 2025, and then jumped in late December 2025 and January 2026 to about ৳19.8. It kept climbing to a peak of ৳22.1 in mid-June 2026. Over the summer it eased back and spent September and early October almost flat between ৳20.5 and ৳20.8. In mid-October it lifted out of that band and now sits at ৳21.2. It is above the 200-day average (the average closing price of the last 200 trading days, now ৳20.55) and the 50-day average (৳20.84), which is the usual picture of a stock in an uptrend. The levels that matter most are ৳21.4–21.5, where the October rise stalled, ৳22.1, the June high, and ৳20.5–20.6, the bottom of the recent flat range.
Key levels
Support is a price where buyers have stepped in before; resistance is where selling has capped rises. On Uttara Bank, ৳20.5–20.6 held repeatedly through September and October, and the 200-day average now sits there. Above, the rise paused at ৳21.4 in late October, and ৳22.1 is the June peak that price has not revisited since.
Trend on each timeframe
The monthly and weekly charts show a multi-year uptrend with price above its long averages. The daily chart agrees, with price above both the 50- and 200-day lines. The hourly chart is the outlier: since 22 October price has gone sideways between ৳21.1 and ৳21.4, and the weekly MACD still sits just under its signal line after the summer cooling.
Monthly Up

This chart covers about ten years; each candle is one month. The orange line is the 12-month simple average (average monthly close of the past year), now ৳20.61. The middle panel is RSI (14), a 0–100 momentum gauge, at 66.1. Price rose from roughly ৳12 in 2023 through ৳17 in 2025 to a peak of ৳22.1 in June 2026, then eased to ৳20.5 in September and recovered to ৳21.2. Price has stayed above the 12-month average throughout the climb since early 2024. Monthly volume was heaviest in 2018 and early 2024.
Weekly Up

About four years of weekly candles; each candle is one week. Orange is the 10-week average (৳20.90), blue the 40-week average (৳20.77), roughly a 200-day line. The lower panel is MACD, the gap between two moving averages, used to show momentum. A strong run in late December 2025 and January 2026 took price from ৳17.2 to ৳19.8, followed by a peak of ৳22.1 in mid-June. Weekly closes then drifted to ৳20.6 in September before recovering to ৳21.3 in late October. MACD is 0.19 against its signal 0.24, a small negative gap that has been narrowing.
Daily Up

About one year of daily candles; each candle is one trading day. Green is the 50-day average (৳20.84), purple the 200-day average (৳20.55), the average close of the last 200 sessions. Price jumped from ৳17.2 in late December 2025 to ৳19.8 in early January, reached ৳21.04 in late February and peaked at ৳22.1 on 15–16 June. It then slid to a flat ৳20.6–20.8 band through September and early October, dipping below the 50-day but holding above the 200-day. From 14 October it climbed to ৳21.4. Volume spikes of 10–12 million shares came in February and April; recent days are near 0.8–2 million.
Hourly Sideways

About two months of hourly candles; each candle is one trading hour. Orange is the 20-hour exponential average (৳21.23), blue the 50-hour (৳21.13); these weight recent prices more. Through September and early October price was pinned in a ৳20.5–20.7 band. On 14 October it stepped up to ৳21.0, then to ৳21.3–21.4 by 22–23 October, with hourly volume briefly near 1 million shares. Since then price has moved sideways between ৳21.1 and ৳21.4, and hourly RSI has cooled to 49 from near 70.
Momentum and volume
Momentum turned up in October: RSI rose above 70 and is now 63.8, MACD is positive and above its signal, and ADX at 33 says a trend is present with buyers in control (+DI 18.8 against −DI 6.9). Trading activity is quiet, though, with the last session at 0.78 times average volume, so the recent pause has come on light interest.

About six months of daily candles; each candle is one day. The shaded channel is Bollinger Bands, a 20-day average (৳20.91) with bands two standard deviations above (৳21.45) and below (৳20.36), showing how far price normally swings. Panels below show RSI (63.8), MACD (0.14 vs signal 0.09) and ADX/DMI (ADX 33.0, +DI 18.8, −DI 6.9), which measure momentum and trend strength. From July to September price slid along the lower band and the bands narrowed. In mid-October price broke above the upper band, RSI briefly passed 70, and ADX rose; price is now resting in the upper half of the channel.
What would change the picture
Each scenario card names a price level and what a daily close beyond it would mean for the chart's structure. They are conditions to watch, not predictions; none of them says which way the price will go, only how the picture would change if that level is crossed.
Recent changes and what followed
Each row is a day a tracked signal changed, and the price move over the next 5, 20 and 60 trading days (blank until that many days have passed). Past moves do not predict future ones.
