In plain words
Pragati Life Insurance has had large swings over the past year and a half. The share price rose from about ৳68 in mid-2025 to a peak of ৳258.1 in October 2025, dropped sharply to ৳115.7 in November, climbed back to ৳244.5 in February 2026, and has been sliding since. Over the past few months price has made lower highs: ৳187.9 in July, ৳157.8 in early September and ৳152.0 in late September. On October 27 it touched ৳128.5, the lowest level since November 2025, before closing at ৳132.6 on November 1. Two reference lines matter. The 50-day average, the average closing price of the last 50 trading days, is ৳141.33. The 200-day average, the same idea over 200 days, is ৳167.39. Price is under both, and both are falling, which is how a downtrend normally looks. Trading volume has also thinned, with 45,558 shares changing hands in the latest session, about 0.71 times its recent average.
Key levels
Support is a price area where buyers have stepped in before; resistance is where sellers have. For Pragati Life, ৳128.5-129.4 is the October 27 low and the nearest support, with ৳132.0-132.6 just above it as an earlier pivot area. Overhead, ৳141.1-143.9 and then ৳147.0-152.0 are zones where rallies stalled in late September and early October.
Trend on each timeframe
The monthly picture is a wide pullback after a very large 2025 rally. The weekly and daily charts both point down, with price under falling averages. The hourly chart is the exception: it has moved back between its 20- and 50-hour averages after the October 27 low, so short-term selling has eased while the larger trend remains lower.
Monthly Sideways

Each candle is one month and the chart covers about ten years. The orange line is the 12-month average (৳163.23), the average monthly close of the past year. Below the price are RSI (47.4), a 0-100 gauge of recent buying versus selling strength, and volume. Price fell to ৳68.3 in mid-2025, then surged to a high of ৳258.1 in October 2025. Since then it has pulled back to ৳132.6 and now trades below the 12-month average. The current month has only one session so far, so its volume bar is small.
Weekly Down

Each candle is one week, covering about four years. The orange line is the 10-week average and the blue line the 40-week average, the average weekly closes over those periods. The panel below shows MACD, which compares two moving averages to gauge momentum, and weekly volume. Price peaked near ৳258.1 in October 2025, rallied again to ৳244.5 in February 2026, and has since made lower highs, with a weekly close of ৳178.1 in July falling to ৳130.0 last week. Price is under both averages, which slope down, and weekly volume has faded.
Daily Down

Each candle is one trading day, covering about a year. The green line is the 50-day average (৳141.33) and the purple line the 200-day average (৳167.39), the average closes of the past 50 and 200 sessions; bars at the bottom show volume. Price dropped from ৳244.5 in February to a lower peak of ৳187.9 in July, then slid in steps to a low of ৳128.5 on October 27. The last close of ৳132.6 is about 20.8% under the 200-day line, on volume of 45,558 shares, far below the volume seen in February and March.
Hourly Sideways

Each candle is one hour of trading, covering roughly two months. The orange line is the 20-hour exponential average (৳131.63) and the blue line the 50-hour (৳132.98); exponential averages weight recent prices more heavily. Below are RSI (53.7) and volume. The chart shows a steady drift lower from the ৳157.8 daily high of September 6 to the late-October low, with price repeatedly held under the 50-hour line. In the latest sessions price has recovered to the averages and RSI has moved back above 50.
Momentum and volume
Momentum is weak but not extreme. RSI at 41.9 is below the neutral 50 line yet well above the oversold 30 level. ADX at 33.0 says the downtrend is strong, and sellers (-DI 28.1) outweigh buyers (+DI 12.2). MACD sits below zero but has flattened, and volume is light, so neither side is showing strong conviction.

Each candle is one trading day over about six months. The shaded band is Bollinger Bands (20, 2): a 20-day average (৳134.75) with outer bands two standard deviations away (৳140.31 and ৳129.19), showing how stretched price is. Below are RSI (41.9), MACD (-3.26 against signal -3.35) and ADX (33.0, with -DI 28.1 above +DI 12.2), which measures trend strength. Price slid along the lower band from August to October and dipped to the lower band on October 27, then closed at ৳132.6, still below the middle line.
What would change the picture
The scenario cards describe conditions to watch on the chart, not predictions. Each one says what a particular close would change about the structure. Price can move without meeting any of them, and none of them implies that a move will follow.
Recent changes and what followed
Each row is a day a tracked signal changed, and the price move over the next 5, 20 and 60 trading days (blank until that many days have passed). Past moves do not predict future ones.
