- Confirmation of sale
Mr. Shaikh A Halim, one of the Sponsors of the Company, has further reported that he has completed his sale of 1,50,000 shares of the Company at prevailing market price through Stock Exchange as announced earlier.

Mr. Shaikh A Halim, one of the Sponsors of the Company, has expressed his intention to sell 1,50,000 shares out of his total holding of 3,32,266 shares of the Company at prevailing market price through Stock Exchange within October 31, 2016.
- Change of Financial year
The Company has informed that the Board of Directors has decided, according to the Companies Act, 1994 and the Directive issued by the BSEC dated September 28, 2016, to extend the Financial Year (FY) 2015-2016 of the Company by an additional period of 6 months comprising to 18 months period commencing on July 01, 2015 and ending on December 31, 2016 to comply with the uniform income year from January to December as per provision of the Finance Act, 2015. The Company has also informed that an application was filed to the Honorable High Court division of Supreme Court under section 85(3) of the Companies Act 1994 for an order directing MIDAS Financing Ltd. to call, hold and conduct its next AGM in 2017 instead of 2016 (which is under process). Accordingly, financial statements of 18 months shall be considered in the Board Meeting after closing of financial year on December 31, 2016 and shall be placed for approval of shareholders in the AGM to be held pursuant to the order of the Court.

The Company has informed that the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission vide its letter no. SEC/Reg/MB-113/2012/157 dated September 6, 2016 has issued a Full-fledged Merchant Banker & Portfolio Manager Registration Certificate to the newly incorporated Company under the name and style of "MIDAS Investment Limited", a subsidiary Company of MIDAS Financing Ltd.

Consolidated EPS was Tk. 0.32 for January-March, 2016 as against Tk. 0.25 for January-March, 2015; Consolidated EPS was Tk. 0.68 for July, 2015-March, 2016 as against Tk. (0.97) for July, 2014-March, 2015. Consolidated NOCFPS was Tk. (2.61) for July, 2015-March, 2016 as against Tk. (0.79) for July, 2014-March, 2015.
