Islami Commercial Insurance PLC. provides non-life insurance products in Bangladesh. The company operates through four segments: Fire, Marine, Motor, and Miscellaneous. It offers motor insurance, which includes comprehensive own damage and third-party, and third-party liability; fire insurance that covers building, contents, stock from fire, lightning, and explosion, as well as storm, flood, and riot protection; and marine cargo and hull insurance that covers sinking, collision, and theft protection. The company also provides burglary, personal accident, public liability, money in transit, and plate glass insurance; and engineering insurance which covers damage to construction projects, machinery breakdown, third-party liability during erection, and contractor’s equipment, including fire, storm, collapse, and faulty design protection, as well as digital insurance that offers personal and commercial vehicles protection against accidents, theft, fire, natural disasters, and liability towards third parties. Islami Commercial Insurance PLC. was formerly known as Islami Commercial Insurance Company Limited and changed its name to Islami Commercial Insurance PLC. in May 2025. The company was incorporated in 1999 and is headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
