In plain words
The DS30 is an index that tracks 30 large companies on the Dhaka Stock Exchange, measured in points. Between March and mid-July 2026 it rose from about 1,909 to a peak of 2,254.81. Since then it has given back part of that gain. It fell to 2,060.07 in mid-September and has since moved sideways between roughly 2,060 and 2,130 for seven weeks. Today it fell 0.88% to 2,068.43. That puts it just below its 200-day average (2,070.20). This average is the mean closing level of the last 200 trading days, a common measure of the long-term trend. The 50-day average, the shorter-term trend line, is at 2,104.94 and falling. The index is now 8.3% below its 52-week high and well above its 52-week low of 1,813.36. The levels to watch are the 2,060 floor of the recent range and the 2,113-2,130 area where October rallies stopped.
Key levels
Support is a level where buying has tended to stop declines, and resistance is one where selling has stopped advances. On the DS30, 2,060.07 held as a floor in mid-September and again in late October. The late-September high of 2,130.36 and the October high of 2,113.01 have capped every rebound. Today the index sits right at the floor of that band.
Trend on each timeframe
The monthly chart is neutral: the index sits on its 12-month average inside a band that has held since 2024. The weekly chart has turned down, with lower highs since July and price under both weekly averages. The daily chart is flat in a range, and today's hourly slide is the weakest of the four. The longer views are calm while the shorter views are weak.
Monthly Sideways

Each candle is one month, covering about ten years. The orange line is the 12-month simple average, the mean close of the last 12 months. The lower panel is RSI(14), a 0-100 momentum gauge. The index peaked near 2,800 in late 2021, fell to a low of 1,697.19 in May 2025, and since then has swung between about 1,810 and 2,255. It now sits at 2,068.43, almost exactly on the 12-month average of 2,065.84, with monthly RSI at 51.06, mid-scale. The index has no volume data.
Weekly Down

Each candle is one week, about four years in all. The orange line is the 10-week average and the blue line the 40-week average, roughly the 200-day equivalent. The lower panel is MACD, which compares a fast and a slow average to show momentum. The index rallied from 1,909.34 in March 2026 to 2,254.81 in the week of 12 July, then made lower weekly highs each week through October. This week it closed at 2,068.43, below the 10-week (2,100.77) and 40-week (2,090.21) averages. MACD (3.71) is below its signal line (17.19). No volume is published for the index.
Daily Sideways

Each candle is one trading day, about a year in all. The green line is the 50-day average and the purple line the 200-day average, the mean close of the last 200 trading days. The index climbed from 1,813.36 in November 2025 to 2,254.81 on 15 July 2026, then fell to 2,060.07 on 14 September. Since then it has moved sideways between 2,060 and 2,130. The 50-day average (2,104.94) is falling toward the rising 200-day (2,070.20), and today's close of 2,068.43 is just under the 200-day. No volume is published for the index.
Hourly Down

Each candle is one trading hour, covering about two months. The orange and blue lines are the 20-hour and 50-hour exponential averages, which give more weight to recent prices. The bottom panel is RSI(14). Through October the index swung between about 2,075 and 2,113 around these averages. Today it opened at 2,085.60, peaked at 2,089.64 and fell through every hour to close at the day's low of 2,068.43. That is below both averages (2,083.73 and 2,089.31). Hourly RSI is 28.36, below the 30 level often called oversold.
Momentum and volume
Momentum has weakened. Daily RSI dropped to 37.9 and hourly RSI to 28.4, which means selling has outweighed buying over recent sessions. MACD has just slipped under its signal line. ADX is only 13.5, which means there has been no strong trend either way. The move has come after weeks of quiet trading. The index feed has no volume, so participation cannot be measured.

Each candle is one day, about six months in all. The shaded band is Bollinger Bands: a 20-day average with lines two standard deviations above and below. Below the price are RSI(14), MACD and ADX/DMI, which measures trend strength. The bands widened during the June-July rally to 2,254.81, then narrowed through October as the index went sideways. Today's close of 2,068.43 is below the lower band (2,073.15). RSI fell to 37.88 and MACD (-6.43) slipped under its signal (-5.85). ADX at 13.51 shows no strong trend, while -DI (26.58) leads +DI (15.43).
What would change the picture
Each scenario card names a level and what a daily close beyond it would mean for the chart's structure. They are conditions to watch, not predictions. None of them is more likely than another, and the index can stay between these levels for some time.
Recent changes and what followed
Each row is a day a tracked signal changed, and the price move over the next 5, 20 and 60 trading days (blank until that many days have passed). Past moves do not predict future ones.
