- Regarding Signing of Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)
The company has informed that GBB Power Limited, through its subsidiary Solaron Power Limited, has entered into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with The Station Headquarters, Cumilla Cantonment, 33rd Infantry Division, Bangladesh Army, for installation of a 5.005 MWp (DC) ground-mounted solar power plant on OPEX/BOOT - Build, Own, Operate & Transfer - basis at Cumilla Cantonment, Cumilla, (cont.1) (Cont. News of GBBPOWER): The total approximate investment for the project, as approved by the Board of Directors on their meeting on 23 August 2026, is not expected to exceed Tk. 6 (six) crore. The Commercial Operation Date (COD) is expected within the first half of 2027. (end) (Cont. The company has informed that a Power Purchase Contract (PPC) has been signed between Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) and Consortium of Fiber@Home and GBB Power Limited, on 25 January, 2026, for Installation of 18 MW(AC) Solar Power Plant near Hathazari 230/132/33 KV Grid Substation, Chattogram and Supply of Electrical Energy. The supply of Electrical Energy to the Grid will commence within the next 24 months from the contract signing date.
